The damage process is: coking begins in the tube, which increases the temperature of the tube wall, thereby intensifying the oxidation of the surface and the corrosion of the furnace tube. Oxidation reduces the thickness of the pipe wall, and the thinned part is first bulged out under the dual action of internal pressure and heat. After the furnace tube is bulged, the gap between the inner wall of the tube and the coke layer increases, which gradually increases the temperature of other parts of the furnace tube, further oxidizes and thins, and finally leads to the rupture of the furnace tube.
