How to prevent coking in heating furnace?

2023-08-07

The damage of heating furnace is generally mainly caused by coking, which is formed by the joint action of many factors. Coking is a phenomenon in which the oil in the furnace tube is thermally cracked when the temperature exceeds a certain limit, becomes free carbon, and accumulates on the furnace tube. The damage process is: coking begins in the tube, which increases the temperature of the tube wall, thereby intensifying the oxidation of the surface and the corrosion of the furnace tube. Oxidation reduces the thickness of the pipe wall, and the thinned part is first bulged out under the dual action of internal pressure and heat. After the furnace tube is bulged, the gap between the inner wall of the tube and the coke layer increases, which gradually increases the temperature of other parts of the furnace tube, further oxidizes and thins, and finally leads to the rupture of the furnace tube.

RLHY-201 high-temperature heat-conducting anti-corrosion and anti-coking coating, the coating has extremely strong bonding force and thermal shock stability on the surface of metal materials, and will not crack and fall off under sudden changes in high and low temperatures. The coating has extremely strong bonding force and thermal stability with metals and refractory materials at high temperatures, because it has good dust erosion resistance. The coating can form a hard ceramic enamel shell on the surface of the substrate, reducing the surface coking rate by more than 70%, which can protect the furnace tube, prolong the life of the furnace tube, and enhance the heat conduction capacity of the furnace tube. The use of RLHY-201 high-temperature heat-conducting anti-corrosion and anti-coking coating can prevent boiler coking. The coating is not easy to produce slag and coking agglomeration, reduces the combination of coke slag and matrix, promotes the natural detachment of coke slag, and also improves the thermal efficiency of the boiler. Coatings can also be used for heat-conducting oil furnace pipes, petrochemical heating furnace pipes, water-cooled walls of coal-fired boilers, gas-fired boiler walls and steam pipes, garbage incinerator walls and steam pipes, and other high-temperature metal surfaces that require acid and corrosion resistance. to a good anti-coking coating.
